David currently runs the Westpac & BankSA Business Banking teams across SA & WA as State General Manager after having joined the group in Sept 2015.
His career spans over 25 years experience in Banking & Financial Services with deep industry background in business & corporate banking, business development & credit risk.
He has a deliberate focus on customers & connecting people through building relationships. He has a strong track record in creating and leading high performing teams and challenging and improving workplace culture and engagement.
He is also focused on community and is heavily involved as Ambassador for the BankSA Foundation and SA State Advisory Board member for the Starlight Foundation
He is passionate about engaging, motivating and advocating to ensure equal opportunity and for employees at Westpac to reach their full potential and to thrive. A diverse workplace that represents the customer base provides the right environment for high performance.
Having graduated from University of Adelaide he holds a Bachelor of Commerce & MBA and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He also completer the Emerging Leaders Program at Columbia University.
