The SA Leaders for Gender Equity is a group of South Australian business and community leaders working towards a shared goal of achieving gender equity.
With a purpose to level the playing field, SA Leaders for Gender Equity recognises that talent is gender neutral, but bias is not. As senior business and community leaders in South Australia, the team are working to ensure women’s and men’s rights, responsibilities and opportunities in the workplace do not depend on gender.
And by leading sustainable change within organisations and increasing the participation of women at the highest levels of industry, SA Leaders for Gender Equity has a duty to educate and encourage other South Australian businesses to do the same.

Women are underrepresented at leadership and management levels in Australian workplaces. Progress towards gender equity has been too slow even though there are strong economic arguments underpinning the case for equity.
